Soften, Rest, GO {with heart}

As we are in the middle of summer, and approach this July full moon, the theme right now is go for it, make it happen!

In the midst of the high energy of summer, when the solar energy is strong, it can be easy to forget the balance of rest, and staying grounded in our hearts.

The theme this week in my home is a 3 step direction:
1) Soften {in your heart}
2) Rest {in your heart}
3) Breathe deep and full through your whole body
4) GO!

The softening allows us to open to way more energy. When we tense up, we physically cut off some of the circulation to our blood vessels. Then, when you rest, even for 5 minutes, just lying on the earth and feeling your earth connection, you get recharged and renewed with vital life energy. The 3rd step is key – the transition from rest to GO is breath. Deep, vigorous, full body breaths.

It doesn’t have to take much time! I was just exhausted before writing this email. I did these 4 steps (it took 8 minutes total), and I feel deeply recharged and grounded in my heart and body.
